Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Financial Aid/AVP of Enrollment Management, the Financial Aid Counselor assists in the implementation of all institutional, state, and federal financial aid policies and procedures in support of the Financial Aid Office. This position is part of a team.聽

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service to students, families, and campus partners seeking information in regard to student financial aid programs and processing.
- Serves as the first point of contact for 香蜜影视 financial aid email account, phone inquiries, and document portal submissions.
- Counsels and advises students on financial aid best practices and next steps to assist with successful navigation of the process.聽聽
- Awards and administers institutional, state, and federal financial aid programs according to regulatory requirements.聽
- Provides financial aid program updates and reporting as necessary to internal and external partners.
- Assists students in estimating their educational expenses and preparing a financial plan with expected financial aid resources.聽
- Assists in accurately collecting and tracking necessary financial aid documentation.
- Provides support to the Director and Associate/Assistant Directors as needed.
- Ensures compliance and confidentiality in all student aid processing.
- Represents the Financial Aid Office along with the rest of the financial aid team at campus visit events and off campus financial aid counseling events.
- Contributes to the overall success of the Financial Aid Office by performing other duties as assigned.聽
Qualifications:
Bachelor鈥檚 degree required. Financial aid experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task with attention to detail required. Must be able to effectively communicate complicated information. Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with other offices. Understanding of state, and federal financial aid programs and regulations preferred. Experience with financial aid software and integration with other systems preferred. Some weekend and evening hours will be required. 聽 Must have Microsoft Office skills and customer service skills.聽
