The Palmer College of Professional Studies puts real-world experiences at the center of learning. In every course, students apply knowledge and skills to professional situations through case studies, collaborative techniques, multimedia presentations, and capstone projects.  

Empowered to explore career options inside and outside of the classroom, students are immersed in a variety of professional landscapes. Workplace experiences, internships, and co-ops provide opportunities to test classroom concepts and discuss outcomes as well as networking and pipelines for target jobs.

School of Business

The school of business comprises the business, communication, and project management programs, including undergraduate majors and minors, as well as the MBA and dual MBA/MHA degrees. 

The school of business places a strong emphasis on sustainability and the 鈥渢riple bottom line鈥 of economic, social, and environmental benefits.

School of Education

The school of education is home to undergraduate minor and certificate programs in education, autism studies, Applied Behavior Analysis, higher education administration, as well as the major in liberal arts and interdisciplinary studies. All graduate education programs, including the master of arts in teaching, the master of education, and the provisionally licensed teaching certificate are also offered through the school of education. Some undergraduate students interested in becoming elementary or secondary education teachers take classes in the area in which they intend to teach through the Gold College, and minor in education through the Palmer College鈥檚 school of education.

With a focus on developing confident leadership skills, the school of education creates a collaborative environment of inquiry and innovation, while helping individuals find personal pathways to achieve their goals.

School of Professional Studies

The school of professional studies offers undergraduate majors in criminal justice and social work. These programs offer students a solid knowledge base in the theory and practice in their chosen field, and stress the application of that intellectual foundation to address society鈥檚 needs.
