Amanda Cash, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA

Amanda has a Ph.D. in applied behavior analysis from The Chicago School where her research focused on effective and efficient instructional practices for children and adults. Additionally, she has a master’s degree in special education, a post-graduate certificate in special education leadership, and an undergraduate degree in theatre. Amanda’s clinical experience includes work in school and adult service settings, and she has a specific interest in the transition between these settings as individuals age. Amanda lives in Roanoke, VA and enjoys hiking with her husband and her dog in her free time.

Anika Costa, EdD, BCBA

Dr. Anika Costa is a board-certified behavior analyst, instructional designer, and organizational consultant with over two decades of experience supporting educators, school leaders, clinicians, and organizations. She is the Founder of The Operant Teacher, LLC, and Co-Founder of The Behavioral Toolbox, where she specializes in performance improvement, professional development, and systems-level change. Throughout her career, Dr. Costa has served as a speech therapist, classroom teacher, instructional coach, adjunct faculty member, and consultant, blending practical experience with evidence-based strategies to help teams improve outcomes and build sustainable practices. She is also a best-selling author and nationally recognized speaker who is passionate about making behavior science approachable, actionable, and meaningful in real-world settings.

Adrienne Ellis, MS, PhD Candidate

Adrienne Ellis holds a B.A. and M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from 香蜜影视 and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Learning Design and Performance Technology at Florida State University. Adrienne鈥檚 professional experience spans federal and nonprofit settings. Her work has focused on training, instructional design, leadership development, and performance improvement. Previously, at the National Park Service, she managed national learning and leadership development programs. She currently serves as a Program Officer in Instructional Design at the International Rescue Committee. In this role, she designs learning experiences and technical assistance resources for professionals and frontline service providers. Her work supports capacity building, professional learning, and stronger practice in community-based service settings. Her interests include adult learning, environmental聽influences on behavior, ethical practice, and the use of ABA principles to understand behavior in workplace, community, and sustainability-related contexts.

Christine 鈥淐hristy鈥 Evanko, MBA, BCBA, LBA

Christy Evanko, MBA, BCBA, LBA has over a decade of experience as a behavior analyst. She owned and operated Snowflakes ABA in Virginia where she engaged in private practice with children and adults with autism, developmental and intellectual delays, and Tourette Syndrome as well as providing consulting services. She served as the Executive Director for the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis and has lobbied and advocated for the profession of applied behavior analysis. Currently, she teaches ethics at 香蜜影视 and is the treasurer for the B F Skinner foundation. Christy is the Director of Human Resources and Operations at Motivity, a data collection software company. In her spare time, Christy is involved in the timing of swim meets and volunteers with her church. She lives with her husband and three children.

Paul 鈥淧aulie鈥 Gavoni, EdD, BCBA

Dr. Paul Gavoni is a behavior analyst who is passionate about applying Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) strategies to lead and help other leaders establish positive and engaging environments that unlock behavior and unleash potential. He is a Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY best-selling author who hosts the Crisis in Education, Thoughts & Rants of a Behavior Scientist, and World Behavior Analysis Day Podcasts. He is a director at the Professional Crisis Management Association, founder of Heart & Science Consulting, co-founder of The Behavioral Toolbox, and a Board Member of The World Behavior Analysis Day Alliance. Beyond his work in education and human services, Dr. Gavoni is a former Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion and highly respected striking coach in combat sports. Coach 鈥淧aulie Gloves,鈥 as he is known in the Mixed Martial Arts community, has trained world champions and UFC vets using technologies rooted in ABA.

Kathryn Glodowski, PhD, BCBA-D

Dr. Glodowski started working with people with disabilities as a peer tutor in high school and fell in love with the science of behavior as an undergraduate student. Since then, she has worked in many settings (e.g., camp, group home, private school, clinic) to help improve the quality of life for others with various disabilities (e.g., traumatic brain injury, down syndrome, autism). Dr. Glodowski firmly believes behavior analysis can be applied in all areas of society if we learn how to better collaborate across disciplines. In her free time, Dr. Glodowski enjoys anything outdoors and/or with good food.

Veronica Howard, PhD, BCBA-D

Veronica is a board-certified behavior analyst. Their research interests vary widely, including organizational behavior management (especially in under-resourced environments), distance-delivered teaching and training modalities, gamification, social justice, accessibility, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. Their hobbies include video games, copyright law, and hiking with their favorite sidekick, Ursa. Veronica is a founding member of the and the .

Caleb Hudgins, PhD
Adjunct Faculty Member
Dr. Hudgins is a certified International Behavior Analyst (IBA) with a PhD in Behavioral and Systems Neuroscience from Rutgers University and a Masters and Bachelor degree in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas where he carried out basic and applied research on fundamental behavioral and learning processes. Caleb currently serves as Vice-Chair of the National Autism Safety Council as a data specialist and subject matter expert in public safety issues impacting the Autism community and other at-risk populations. Dr. Hudgins is also President and founding member of the Child Welfare and Justice Systems Special Interest Group for the Association for Behavior Analysis International, and a Science, Technology, and Policy Fellow Alumni with the American Association for the Advancement of Science where he worked with the National Institute of Justice spanning two U.S. presidential administrations. In addition to his leadership and advocacy roles, Dr. Hudgins focuses on multi-sector systems level analyses and building frameworks for data-based decision making at the intersection of public policy, health, safety, and education.

Barbara J. Kaminski, PhD, BCBA-D

Dr. Barbara Kaminski has over 30 years of experience as a behavior analyst. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Behavior Analysis Training Program at West Virginia University, focusing on the experimental analysis of behavior and organizational behavior management. She has worked and published extensively in behavioral pharmacology, exploring the relationship between biological, neurological, and behavioral factors in drug use and abuse. Dr. Kaminski is the Clinical Director of an agency that provides ABA therapy services. She is passionate about professional development for young and in-training clinicians, is actively involved in developing problem-solving strategies for values-informed ethical decision-making, and is dedicated to the contextually-based application of behavioral principles. In her 鈥渟pare鈥 time, Dr. Kaminski is on the Board of Directors and volunteers for a local non-profit theatre company in Northern Virginia whose mission is the inclusion of performers and crew of all abilities.

Megan Sullivan Kirby, PhD, BCBA

Megan S. Kirby (she/her/hers) holds a doctorate in Behavioral & Community Sciences from the University of South Florida and master鈥檚 in special education from the University of Virginia. Dr. Kirby鈥檚 research focuses on assessing comprehension and scaling effective oral language interventions using culturally responsive practices and using single-case experimental design methodology to disseminate impacts of such programs to reduce educational and social disparities among marginalized and under resourced communities (e.g., children displaced due to war, climate change, etc.). She is the Director of Dissemination and Implementation Programs for Language Dynamics Group and an implementation scientist working with the Glazer Children鈥檚 Museum in Tampa, FL. She has published work in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, to include the APA Handbook of Research Methods in Psychology, Behavior Analysis in Practice, Behavior and Social Issues, Perspectives on Behavior Science, Reading & Writing Quarterly, and Journal of School Psychology.

Emil N. Majetich, Jr., PhD BCBA, LBA

Emil Majetich Jr. is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), and has a PhD in Early Childhood Special Education from George Mason University. His research focuses on virtual coaching to support caregivers of autistic children in naturalistic routines. Emil serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and mentors aspiring behavior analysts as a BCBA supervisor. With over 25 years of experience as a Fire Lieutenant and Paramedic, Emil brings a unique perspective to his work in applied behavior analysis. He has taught university courses and presented nationally and internationally on topics related to ABA, autism, inclusive education, and behavioral supports. Emil is also a long-time surfer and volunteer with Surfers Healing, helping children with autism and their families experience the joy of surfing.

Dylan Markham, MA, BCBA, LBA

Dylan Markham is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, licensed in the state of Virginia since 2015. He graduated from James Madison University with his master鈥檚 degree in the Psychological Sciences, Clinical Concentration. He was drawn towards ABA during his practicum in a self-contained public school classroom for autism, and completed his ABA course sequence through the University of North Texas online program. Dylan has worked in the field of autism and other developmental disabilities for over a decade and a half. Early in his professional career, he delved into Organizational Behavior Management as a means of providing effective training and support to the staff who directly supported his聽clients. He currently serves at a private day placement for children with autism as a Senior BCBA. He achieved the rank of Yondan (fourth degree black belt) in karate and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Craig Marrer, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA

Craig Marrer is a board-certified and licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia. Dr. Marrer has experience working with individuals across the lifespan including early intervention services for young children with diagnosed with developmental disabilities, adults diagnosed with intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, major mental illness, and older adults diagnosed with dementia processes. Dr. Marrer currently works as a BCBA for the Richmond City Public School district.

Syn McDonald, MA, MPPA, BCBA, LBA

Syn McDonald is a BCBA licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, a Master鈥檚 in Public Policy Administration, and two graduate certificates in Women & Gender Studies and Non-Profit Management & Leadership, all from University of Missouri-St. Louis. She also earned a Master鈥檚 Degree in Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005. Syn has practiced in the field of ABA over 20 years and has worked in a variety of settings including intermediate care facilities, public school systems, group homes, and private residencies. She currently serves as an Area Behavior Analyst for Missouri where she leads systems-level efforts to identify, monitor, and address practices that may pose ethical, clinical, or safety concerns for individuals being served. She is responsible for system-level analysis, design, and intervention, including developing state guidelines, analyzing data to guide service improvements, creating processes, and leading initiative such as chairing behavior review committees and providing individual consultation to teams serving high risk clients. Syn values kindness and collaboration, while working to support others through mentorship and advocacy.

Rachel Metras, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA

Dr. Metras discovered behavior analysis by chance as an undergraduate at the University of Florida and immediately changed her career path to pursue her love of the field. She has since earned a master鈥檚 degree in behavior analysis from the University of North Texas and a PhD in behavior analysis from Western New England University. Dr. Metras has worked with autistic youth and adults in clinic, residential, in-home, and day school settings, has taught behavior analytic courses at the collegiate level, and coaches other professionals through conducting practical functional assessment and skill-based treatments process. Dr. Metras specializes in the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors, a topic on which she has co-authored several articles and book chapters. She believes that folks who have found that extraordinary behaviors are the best way to meet their needs are deserving of extraordinarily compassionate care. If Rachel is not spending her down time with her husband and son, she is probably listening to a truly remarkable number of audiobooks.

Stephanie Mitchell-Gregory, EdD

Stephanie earned her B.S. in Liberal Studies with a teaching certification from Bridgewater College. She obtained an M.Ed. in Special Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from JMU. She also holds an EdS Degree in Special Education and a EdD from National University. Stephanie has over 20 years of educational experience. Her experience includes teaching both regular education and special education in the Shenandoah Valley, working as a Division I learning specialist, educational consultant, assistant principal, Director of Accessibility Services and is currently the Principal and Director of Education at the Commonwealth Center for Children & Adolescents, an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital.

Natalie Parks, PhD, BCBA-D

Dr. Natalie Parks is a licensed psychologist and doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (licensed in Missouri) with over 25 years of experience applying the science of behavior across clinical, diagnostic, educational, and organizational systems. Her work in autism spans diagnostic evaluation across the lifespan, skill acquisition, severe behavior, feeding, and toileting in settings ranging from homes, clinics, and schools to inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs. Dr. Parks has extended behavior analysis beyond traditional boundaries into leadership, consulting, sports, and first responder systems. She is the author of multiple books applying the science of behavior to advance social justice, develop effective leaders, and transform organizational performance. Known for her bold, systems-focused approach, Dr. Parks designs environments that produce measurable, lasting change and is committed to training behavior analysts to think and practice with both precision and purpose. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and focuses on translating the science of behavior into practical, widely adopted solutions that address real-world challenges, improve lives, and challenge systemic inequities.

Brian Phelps, MEd, BCBA, LBA

Brian Phelps is a behaviorist who loves helping people. He attended the L. Douglas Wilder School of Public Affairs at VCU and earned a BA in Political Science. Brian attended the University of Richmond and earned a Master鈥檚 Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. A few years later he studied behavior at the Florida Institute of Technology. Since 2001 Brain has held various positions ranging from being a one to one, teacher, case manager and director. Currently, Brian is a Behavior Analyst at the Department of Behavior Health and Developmental Services.

Dr. Rachel Potter is a behavior analyst and a licensed teacher, administrator, and school superintendent.聽 Her licenses as a behavior analyst and educator are active in both Virginia and Oklahoma. Dr. Potter has experience as a university academic administrator and faculty member, school-based administrator (in juvenile justice and in a traditional public school setting), central office special education administrator, and special education teacher.聽 She is the parent of two adult children, one of whom is autistic. Her academic degrees are from the College of William & Mary and the University of Virginia. She lives in the suburbs of Tulsa, Oklahoma, but visits Virginia very regularly to visit family and the 香蜜影视 campus.

Amanda Randall, EdD, BCBA-D, LBA

University in Educational Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has worked across schools, clinical settings, and higher education, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Capella University, where she teaches and mentors doctoral learners. She is the founder of Go Beyond Abilities, providing consultation, training, and program development to support individuals, families, and organizations. Her work centers on bridging research and practice, with a strong focus on organizational behavior management, supervision, and聽systems-level change. She is actively involved in advancing the field through research and dissemination, particularly in social validity of the science. While she enjoys all areas of behavior analysis, she has a special interest in leadership, systems improvement, and making behavior science practical and accessible.

Ryan Sain, PhD

Ryan Sain received his PhD from Washington State University during the Behavior Analysis days. He has since worked internationally doing university development all over Africa and Afghanistan. He served as Assistant Professor at Eastern Washington University for several years before moving into the private sector. He was the Operations Specialist at Northwest Autism Center where he did OBM work in an ABA setting. He is active in all things behavior analysis – but especially in the dissemination of the science and the development of open educational resources through PsychCore, a company he co-founded. He also co-founded the ABAI-OER Special Interest Group. As a genuine ABA, EAB, and OBM nerd you can distract him on many topics – notably self-management, and OBM. His deepest love for the field though comes in teaching the content.

Ashleigh Spencer, MEd, BCBA, LBA

Ashleigh Spencer is a Virginia-licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over a decade of experience supporting individuals with diverse developmental needs, including autism, ADHD, and genetic disorders. Currently serving as a school-based Behavior Analyst for the Shenandoah Valley Regional Program, Ashleigh previously held the role of Regional Manager of ABA Services at Spectrum Transformation Group. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from James Madison University and an M.Ed. in Applied Behavior Analysis from 香蜜影视.聽Outside of her professional practice, she is an avid reader and crafter who enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and pets.

Kristina Turner, MSEd, BCBA, LBA

Kristina is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and Temple University, where she received a master鈥檚 degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Kristina has been practicing as a BCBA in Virginia since 2013, in homes, centers, private schools, and group homes, and is now also licensed as a Behavior Analyst in NC, and NE to provide telehealth parent support and supervision. Kristina believes to serve an individual, you have to serve the whole family and keep trauma-informed practice at the forefront of each decision. Kristina is currently Virginia聽Clinical Director at Advanceable ABA, a multi-state ABA and waiver consulting agency for children and adults. Kristina is a native of Staunton, VA and now resides outside of Richmond with her family.

Lori Wall, BS, MEd

After spending ten years as a special education teacher in public education, Lori Wall became a member of the 香蜜影视 family as the Field Placement Coordinator in 2013, and later as the Autism Studies Program Coordinator in 2018. She transitioned into the role of Director of Operations/ABA&AS in 2021 and also serves as an Adjunct Instructor. After graduating with a BS in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a minor in special education from JMU, Ms. Wall began her career as a high-needs special education teacher at the elementary and then the middle school level. She later transitioned to Early Childhood Special Education where she was a regional program teacher for 2-5-year-olds with Autism. She received a MEd in Early Childhood Special Education from JMU and has taken graduate courses in ABA. Ms. Wall鈥檚 passion in life is helping others fulfill their potential as teachers, especially with an emphasis for educating individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
