香蜜影视鈥檚 2024 Day of Giving was a massive success, raising more than 125% of the day鈥檚 fundraising goal and pushing the already successful 鈥淎ll In鈥 campaign to new heights.
President Stein, Chrissy Stein, and alumni Melissa Patrick ’78 and Claire Carter Bell ’76 were All In for this year’s extraordinarily successful Day of giving.
By the numbers, Day of Giving 2024 proved the 香蜜影视 community鈥檚 inspiring commitment to our institution鈥檚 future. With 752 gifts from 630 donors and a total of $692,556 raised, an increase of over 30% from last year鈥檚 dollars raised (with mailed in gifts still arriving), this Day of Giving proved that All In is more than a catchy slogan. There were 164% more first-time donors this year than last year and younger alumni gave 183% more than last year.
Those numbers bolster the All In campaign鈥檚 impressive results, bringing the fundraising total since July 2023 to over $3.7M.
According to Mary Harvey, vice president of advancement, 鈥淲e have endeavored to increase engagement with our alumni and donor community and bring them into the university鈥檚 strategic planning process this year. We don鈥檛 just need their financial support, we need their ideas and we鈥檝e asked them to be involved and connect with us like never before. This historic day is just one of the ways our alumni have answered the call and we are so grateful.鈥
The “Day of Giving” shines a spotlight on the power of collective action. Every gift, no matter the size, contributes to a larger wave of impact that touches every corner of the campus. From scholarships that open doors for deserving students to funding for innovative programs that drive academic and extracurricular excellence and investing in updating and maintaining Mary Baldwin’s campus home, the contributions made on this day fuel the future of 香蜜影视 and reinforce the community’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world.
