Megan earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Radford University Carilion, with a doctoral capstone focused on the role of OT in primary care and its impact on health, wellness, and occupational participation.

With practice experience spanning the healthcare spectrum, Megan specializes in aging-in-place, dementia care, OT in primary care, complex medical conditions in older adults, and women’s health and pelvic floor therapy. She also serves as a core faculty member of Blue Ridge LEND, a program dedicated to interdisciplinary training that builds the workforce of professionals supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Megan is a certified Ayurveda Health Coach and yoga instructor with a deep passion for integrative and complementary health, including the intersection of OT and non-Western medicine. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Piedmont CASA, supporting youth in the foster care system, and contributes her time to the Rural Area Medicine (RAM) Clinics, providing needed free healthcare to rural Appalachian communities. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and kayaking with her husband and two children.
